April is #VolunteerAppreciationMonth! 🌸 As an organization sustained by the support of our volunteers — we’re so excited to celebrate the incredible people who show up week after week to serve our neighbors food, support, and smiles. Last year, Nourishing Hope volunteers contributed more than 80,000 hours! Our volunteers do it all: picking up food donations, sorting produce, packing orders, moving pallets and stocking shelves (we see you, heavy lifters 💪), greeting our neighbors, delivering food to those who are homebound, and helping families pick out nutritious items at our food pantries.
