Hiba, Oasis citizenship class student, just passed her naturalization exam and became a U.S. citizen! Her first act as a US citizen? Showing her gratitude to those who helped her achieve this dream. She cooked an amazing feast including delicous salads, rice, lamb, chicken, desert and soda, and brought it to class to share with her teachers, volunteers, and fellow students. "I'm an American citizen," she said, and she expressed endless gratitude to those at Oasis who helped her on this journey. Hiba's gratitude and generosity makes our community stronger. This weekend was our last Rise and Shine Saturday! Thank you to everyone who has helped make our Saturday programs such a success, we could not have done it without you.
