Venecia Chavero, a member of our founding kindergarten cohort, will be attending Phoenix College in the fall to pursuit a degree in Dental Hygiene. “After completing my associates degree, I plan on transferring to NAU to continue working for my bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene.” Venecia valued her education at Maryvale Prep, “My favorite class in high school was Honors Calculus. Though the class itself is hard, taking this class taught me that my effort is valuable and that studying really pays off. Coming from someone that hates math, I enjoyed this class.” Monday, Venecia is defending her thesis, “How Much Emotion is Acceptable to Portray in Society?” bringing together The Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle and The Stranger by Albert Camus. #classof2025 #seniors #seniorthesis (fb)

Leilani Camacho Posada will kick off Senior Thesis Defenses next week with her paper entitled, “The Outsiders in an Indifferent World.” She brings together ‘The Stranger’ by Albert Camus and ‘Of Mice and Men’ by John Steinbeck in her thesis. Leilani is planning to attend Grand Canyon University in the fall to study forensic science. As a member of our founding kindergarten class, Leilani said she will miss all of the friendships she has built here over the years.
