Deirdre's House is the Center in Morris County, New Jersey for child victims of abuse and/or neglect and for children that have witnessed violence. We are a nationally accredited child advocacy center where a child victim can be forensically interviewed & digitally recorded by law enforcement, medically examined & treated, & clinically counseled in English or Spanish--all under one roof-free of charge. Deirdre's House is an independent 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit. We rely on corporate, foundation & independent donors to provide funds to help us provide critical services. 93 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to services to child victims. Since opening our doors in 1996, Deirdre's House has provided services for 28,000 child visits. In 2017 we had over 2800 child visits for investigations, trial prep, & individual/group clinical counseling.
