Formed in 1974, the Bloomington Area Arts Council serves artists, arts organizations and those wishing to expand their horizons and participate in the arts. The Arts Council has restored and developed two historic properties in downtown Bloomington: the John Waldron Arts Center and the Buskirk-Chumley Theatre.
