The Initiators Fellowship is recruiting social entrepreneurs from the 53 counties and six Native nations served by the Initiative Foundation, Northwest Minnesota Foundation, Southwest Initiative Foundation and West Central Initiative. The Fellowship provides tools and guidance to help emerging rural leaders use their entrepreneurial spirit to create change while building their business and personal leadership capacity. The two-year program provides wrap-around training and mentoring—plus a $30,000 annual stipend—to support Fellows and their social enterprise ideas for improving Greater Minnesota communities. Social enterprise ventures are profit- and purpose-driven.
