Memphis Thoroughbreds Track Club INC About Us The Memphis Thoroughbreds was established in February of 1999 by Memphian Tommy Washington. It has been the continuous goal of the Thoroughbreds to provide long lasting life skills through strict instruction and guidance. Young Thoroughbreds will be taught and reminded daily of the importance of sound decision making and accountability. Through mentoring Shelby County student athletes will learn key attributes such conflict resolution and selfworth which ultimately deters them from gang activity and prevents early unplanned childhood pregnancies.
