(UOAA) promotes quality of life for people with ostomies and continent diversions through information, support, advocacy and collaboration. Our 300+ affiliated ostomy support groups, organized by volunteers throughout the United States, provide the opportunity for local, in-person support. We work toward a society where people with ostomies and intestinal or urinary diversions are universally accepted and supported socially, economically, medically, and psychologically.
