Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage
Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) is dedicated to promoting all forms of Nordic skiing as a healthy form of individual and family activity NSAA's primary activity is to build, groom and maintain over 150 kilometers of spectacular world class trails in Anchorage. NSAA serves the greater Anchorage area and provides services to the entire outdoor community. Thousands of users logged an estimated 42,000 winter recreational hours on Anchorage-area trails during each season. Nearly 9,000 skiers participated in NSAA events and programs, with 80 percent being 18 or younger. NSAA events were fueled by more than 7,000 volunteer hours.
