The Construction Advancement Foundation of Northwest Indiana, Inc. (CAF) is a regional construction industry trade association with over 500 affiliated contractor companies. THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, AND ADVANCE THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTING INDUSTRY IN NORTHWEST INDIANA. AMONG OTHER ACTIVITIES, THE FOUNDATION IS ACTIVE IN ENCOURAGING THE EMPLOYMENT OF ETHICAL PRACTICES, IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY, PROPER LAND USE, INCREASED EFFICIENCY, APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING, ADVANCED SKILL TRAINING, SAFETY EDUCATION, ACCIDENT PREVENTION, AND IMPROVING COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CONTRACTORS AND OTHER PROFESSIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS DIRECTLY INVOLVED IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
