Meet our incredible Grand Marshal, Blake! In March 2025, what started as an ordinary school day turned into something far more serious when Blake’s teachers noticed his balance was off. Within hours, he was rushed to Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center, where doctors discovered a brain tumor that had spread to his spine, requiring emergency surgery. After a long hospital stay, this brave 6-year-old began his recovery at St. Mary’s, smiling, singing, and drumming his way through therapy.
