💐A Hesed House Mother's Day Story 💐 At Hesed House—Love INC Newberg’s transitional living program for women—Mother’s Day didn’t go as planned for one mom. The day came and went with no word from her children. Her sadness hung heavy in the air. 💙But love doesn’t leave us alone in our sorrow. Sensing her pain, the other women in the house quietly came together. A walk turned into a wildflower hunt. A card was purchased, passed around, and filled with handwritten encouragement. As the house settled in for the night, they gently placed the bouquet and card on the dining room table—no fanfare, just love. Later, she found the surprise and came upstairs in tears—touched, seen, and held by the kindness of those walking the journey beside her. This is what community looks like.
