“Hi! I’ll be your guide!”Meeting a guide dog for the first time is exciting, intimidating, and amazing all rolled together. It’s sometimes hard to imagine that this dog you just met is going to be the creature that helps you confidently and safely navigate the world… but that’s exactly what happens. Check out our quiz, “Meet Your Match” to experience a small taste of what that journey is like… link in comments!!! Video description: the video opens to a close up shot of someone walking with a m guide dog. You can see a close up of the person’s shoes and dog’s paws. The clip switches to a close up of walking white poodle paws. At the whistle blow you see a harness being held in the air. Only the harness and person’s arm are visible, In slowed motion they raise the harness slightly angled and then lower it again., causing the girth strap to flip upward. They grab the strap in the same hand, pressing it down against the back strap of the harness. The video changes to close ups of dogs getting ready to go work, harnesses being clipped on etc. Clips of a black lab and white standard poodle looking at the camera. As the audio says, “Hi I’ll be your guide” a close up of a working black lab’s harness handle reveals a custom harness sign made in white, black and green. Modeled off of Beetlejuice colors, the sign reads, “Beetle guide. Do not pet, do not pet, do not pet”. The camera pans out to show the same black lab working, then a yellow lab guide dog stopping at the curb. The clip changes, and shows a white standard poodle guide dog working down a sidewalk block. The closing clip has a black lab in harness running towards the camera in a grassy field. Throughout, text on screen reads: “Who would your guide dog be? Find out now!
