🚫 Guide Dog Myths Busted! 🚫 There are a lot of misconceptions about guide dogs, so today we’re setting the record straight! 🐕✨ Myth #1: Guide dogs are always perfectly behaved. Fact: Guide dogs are still dogs- which means there will be times they make mistakes. They may get distracted or even, on occasion, bark. During the 28 days our students are with us on campus, they learn all about how to address those behaviors when they do come up. Myth #2: Guide dogs are always “on duty.” Fact: While guide dogs are highly trained, they also need time to relax and play, just like any other dog! 🐾 Have any other myths you’ve heard about guide dogs? 🐾 Puppy Update! 🐾 Meet one of our newest little recruits! While they’re still in the early stages of training, they’re already learning the ropes and beginning their journey to become a future guide dog. 🌟 We can’t wait to see how they grow and develop into a trusted guide for someone who needs them.
