Redwood Christian Schools is a non-denominational private Christian educational institution serving students from Transitional Kindergarten to the 12th grade. The school has two campuses: an elementary school in Castro Valley, California, and a middle school and high school in San Lorenzo, California.
History
Redwood Christian Schools was founded in 1970 with the mission of providing a Christ-centered education to equip students for daily living and eternal life. Initially, the school started with a small number of students and has since grown to serve nearly 600 students in grades K-12, with an overall enrollment of about 710 students.
Academics and Programs
The school offers a comprehensive academic program, including eight Advanced Placement (AP) courses. It maintains a teacher-student ratio of about 1:20, with a significant portion of faculty holding advanced degrees. The curriculum is designed to instill Christian values, high academic standards, moral integrity, a spirit of patriotism, and discipline.
