The Common Interest – Bringing Common Sense to American Politics in Idaho The Common Interest The Common Interest in Action were groups of common citizensRepublicans Democrats and Independentsmotivated by the concern that partisan and special interest politics too often crowd out the practical solutions that can work for all of us. With each member commiting just one hour a year we established a record of success passing legislation that is in the common interest. We succeeded by taking five steps together 1. Members of The Common Interest picked what they considered to be the most important issues coming before the Legislature.
