The Carly May Foundation is a Minnesota non-profit supporting organizations with life-changing programs and resources for those with Down syndrome from birth to adulthood. THE CARLY MAY FOUNDATION WAS CREATED IN 2007 TO HELP SUPPORT FAMILIES THAT INCLUDE A CHILD WITH DOWN SYNDROME AND/OR A CHRONIC ILLNESS.

Carly was born on July 21 2004 with a rare translocation in which one of the 21st chromosomes had two long arms and the other 21st chromosome was normal.
