Hands-on learning meets heartfelt giving! Dawson-Bryant Elementary School students wrapped up the school year with new STEM equipment that allows them to build, explore and test circuits – thanks to the first grant awarded from the Janice Large Wheeler and Richard Wheeler Foundation for Science and Technology Education Fund. Created by their children, the fund honors the couple’s shared passion for helping young minds grow. Mrs. Wheeler, a proud graduate of Dawson-Bryant Local Schools, recently visited the elementary school to witness this inaugural grant in action as students demonstrated the knowledge gained from this new technology – lessons made possible by gifts from the Wheelers’ friends and family.
