Nonprofits are a lifeline for our community, providing essential services from housing support to workforce development, often in partnership with the federal government. But if federal funding is disrupted, 2 out of 3 nonprofits in our region say they’d have to face difficult choices. United Way recently surveyed over 100 nonprofits and found that federal dollars helped provide 1.2 million services.
