Starting off, Becky Weimar takes on the role of Helga ten Dorp, bringing her wealth of theatrical experience to the Washington Little Theater for the second time. A seasoned performer, Becky has graced the stage in numerous productions dating back to her high school days. She has played leading roles in Paint Your Wagon, The King and I, and Faith County I & II, as well as standout performances in Nunsense (twice as Sister Robert Ann) and Steel Magnolias (twice as the unforgettable Ouiser!). With her deep love for theater and storytelling, she is thrilled to bring her talents to this thrilling and hilarious production. Offstage, Becky is a dedicated foreign language teacher at Briarwood, where she shares her passion for language and culture with her students. Her love of travel has taken her to several countries, broadening her appreciation for the arts and different cultures. A proud mother of two and grandmother of three, she treasures time spent with her family and balances her love for theater with the joys of being a mom and grandmother. Whether teaching, acting, or singing, she finds joy in creative expression and cherishes the time she spends with her family, friends, and students. With Deathtrap, Becky promises audiences a comedy-thriller “to die for.” She encourages everyone to come experience the excitement, suspense, and laughter of this gripping production.
