Booksin Elementary School Community Association
BESCA (Booksin Elementary School Community Association) is our school's version of a parent-teacher organization. If you have a student at Booksin, you're automatically a member of BESCA. We raise money to support programs and much more! BESCA's Mission is to serve as advocates for the students of Booksin Elementary School to enable them to achieve their fullest potential in a stimulating environment through the cooperative interaction of parents, teachers and community. This is accomplished through: Providing services for school functions; engaging in fundraising projects that support the school's goals and the association's mission; encouraging parent, teacher and community involvement and interaction; collaborating with the San Jose Unified School District in providing educational opportunities.
