Somerset County 4-H What is 4h. 4H is the nATIONS largest youth dEVELOPMENT organization. The Somerset County 4H Youth Development Program is part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension the outreach arm of Rutgers University. Somerset County 4H provides resources to local youth through engaging clubs activities volunteer opportunities and informative workshops to create compassionate responsible and skilled citizens in the community and beyond.

REMINDER: All outstanding 4-H’er applications are due THIS WEEKEND, June 1. A Somerset County Outstanding 4-H’er is a youth member who has displayed extraordinary achievement in the areas of leadership, civic engagement, participation, personal growth and community service on a county, state, and national basis. This achievement is awarded to members 11th-13th grade that go above and beyond the normal club level achievements to contribute to the overall program.
