Our Dragons have returned from an incredible journey across Beijing, Yangshuo, and Shanghai, where they deepened their connection to Chinese culture, language, and community. ✨ Beijing – They explored iconic landmarks like the Great Wall (Mutianyu), Forbidden City, and Summer Palace, immersing themselves in China’s rich history. 🌿 Yangshuo – They harvested tea leaves, learned to cook local dishes, rock climbed, and kayaked through breathtaking landscapes. The highlight? Service learning in Xiatang, where our Dragons taught English, led games, and helped clean up a local school—forming special bonds with the children there. 🏫 Shanghai – At Pinghe Boarding School, they fully embraced student life—attending classes, playing basketball, and practicing calligraphy with new friends. They then spent two days with local host families, who welcomed them with warmth, offering unforgettable cultural experiences and lifelong friendships. 🎉 Yu Ming’s Spring Intersession was a blast! ✨ Our upper-grade students dove into dynamic, hands-on learning and STEAM-centered projects alongside incredible local organizations. From embroidery arts, spoken word, and robotics to drum lessons, K-pop dance, capoeira movement, and our very first Artist Alley, students explored their creativity in exciting ways!
