The Student Biodome Project (SBP) is a student led initiative working to construct a tropical Biodome oasis. The Student Greenhouse Project is a student initiative to create a tropical oasis Biodome as a nature-filled social engagement center! Our mission is to reconnect people with nature and each other, through daily nature interactions in the Biodome. We are striving to build the tropical oasis dome as a new nature engagement center to provide year-round nature at your doorstep. The uplift, calming setting to de-stress, and enhancement of interpersonal connections will build community. The design includes a green technology showcase within the nature education environment for people to experience innovative advances for a better future. Nestled within the quarter acre tropical forest are an activity room, conference room, eco amphitheater, and circle niches distributed through the micro-valley contours to allow everyone to absorb the life-rich experience while doing their daily tasks.
