National Membership Local Affiliation Our New Hampshire state chapter was founded in 1975 to promote string education and performance in the state of New Hampshire. We support and encourage the teaching of string instruments at all educational levels to establish the highest artistic and pedagogical standards and to demonstrate and publicize the personal and social values accruing from the study and performance of string music. The leadership of the New Hampshire chapter of the American String Teachers Association stands in support of the statement from our National organization. We encourage inclusivity respect and compassion for one another.
