6-13-25: Tour an under construction Passive House with an integrated PV roof in Bethany, CT ----> https://nesea.org/06-13-25 A state-of-the-art metal roof integrated with photovoltaic panels (one of the first installations of its kind in the nation) will offset 100% of demand, including battery storage and electric vehicle charging. Sustainability extends to material selection, with naturally weather-resistant cedar siding finished in a traditional charring process for durability without chemical treatments. The event hosts hope to showcase this residence, which will be net zero ready, as an example of a high-performance residence with minimal environmental impact. We hope you can join us! (fb)
