UOTA is a non-profit, Charitable, Public Benefit Corporation, dedicated to providing educational, emotional and financial support to pre and post transplant patients, their caregivers, family and friends. Organ donor awareness is also an important part of our mission. Without the foresight of the compassionate donor and the understanding family, transplantation would not exist. Education of potential donors is a vital part of our mission.
