Founded in 2012, we have a passion for helping our youth become successful as they transition into adulthood. The DEPJ Foundation is a youth development organization. The Dewight E. Patton Jr. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency purposed to empower minority youth, ages 12 – 19 years, with the necessary skills to be productive citizens that will contribute and be a positive influence in their home, school and community. The Dewight E. Patton Jr. Foundation is committed to empowering youth to be successful in life through the development of strong critical thinking skills, solid decision-making, strong interpersonal skills and character development. The Foundation will promote individual responsibility as a means to secure a sense of hope in the future.
