THE MISSION OF BOEDC IS TO ASSIST EXISTING BRONX BASED BUSINESSES TO EXPAND AND TO ENCOURAGE ADDITIONAL BUSINESSES TO START-UP IN OR RELOCATE TO BRONX COUNTY. IN FULFILLING THIS MISSION BOEDC SEEKS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR BRONX RESIDENTS. BOEDC PROVIDES A WIDE ARRAY OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO ITS CLIENTS, INCLUDING SITE SELECTION; SPECIAL PROJECTS; PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE; LIASON SERVICES WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES; INFORMATION DISSEMINATION; JOB DEVELOPMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING.

The Bronx Economic Development Corporation BXEDC was established in March 1981 with the purpose of building a thriving business community in The Bronx. The BXEDC provides assistance to Bronxbased businesses in the form of capital access business capacity building and community engagement. We are a missiondriven 501c3 nonprofit with the purpose of building up The Bronx business community by cultivating relationships with and between community stakeholders providing longterm capital to commercial businesses and advocating for The Bronx.
