In its first year, our newly renovated mobile health unit has brought critical medical services to underserved communities across five counties. Since its launch, the mobile unit has provided more than 270 primary care visits through over 94 clinic sessions at 37 sites. It has become a lifeline for individuals who otherwise may have had no access to healthcare. “The framework of the mobile health unit addresses both immediate healthcare needs and the social factors that impact health.
