WSC is an all-volunteer, 501c3 licensed, no-kill cat rescue and adoption service in Youngstown, Ohio. To rescue, rehabilitate, and shelter homeless, endangered, and abused cats and kittens. To find them loving and caring forever homes. To promote the adoption of special needs cats and kittens by educating the public regarding their care and long term needs. To promote the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering cats and kittens. To help adopters provide for their cats in these tough economic times.

West Side Cats Rescue Adoption NoKillCatShelter Our Story West Side Cats first opened its doors in 2008. We are a nonprofit nokill rescue and adoption facility in Youngstown Ohio founded by individuals who didn39t want to volunteer for kill shelters any longer. We outgrew our first location moved to a largerfacility in 2010 and most recently transitioned into our current location in 2018. With the exception of those being cared for in our clinic all kitties await adoption in colorful open rooms with plenty of beds and toys.
