Welcome. Alaska libraries have a long and proud tradition of informal collaboration between themselves. When librarians worked together their projects were said to come from the Alaska Library Network. After more than 30 years of these collaborations a formal organization was created to administer and coordinate a number of existing programs and services as well as develop new ones.
