The Preschoolers had a visit from Dr. Bollens today! (Nope! Not that Dr. Bollens!) Dr. Ken Bollens is a local veterinarian and SEA parent, and he came in to talk to the Preschoolers this morning to close out their unit on pets. He showed them how he helps pets when they get hurt 🐾, they talked about some of the different things that he's removed out of pets' bellies 🥄, and the Preschoolers asked him about different animals he's worked with at his pet hospital 🐟. Coincidentally, the Preschoolers are learning about the letter V this week - V for "veterinarian"! They finished off the visit by decorating their own vet coats and investigating some of the things Dr. Bollens brought with him. A special thanks to *both* Drs. Our Battle of the Books teams head to their city-wide competition this evening, after having the at-school battle on Friday.
