Advantage Group Foundation, Ltd.

The Advantage Group Foundation (TAG) is a private, not for profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status founded in 1988. Its primary mission is to provide community based, chemical dependency treatment services to adolescents, young adults, and their families. It seeks to eliminate the economic pressures that dictate treatment and provides services matched to the needs of the client independent of financial resources. The Advantage Group programs are designed to be flexible and accessible to the client, their family, schools, courts, police, churches, and other social service agencies. The programs provide structure and service components of variable intensity, duration, and frequency, matched to the specific needs of individual youth and his/her family. The program's purpose is: *to provide outpatient/intensive outpatient chemically dependency treatment to youth. *To accurately assess, intervene, and stop all substance use/abuse. *To treat the emotional, behavioral, and social probems necessary to maintain sobriety. *To improve social supports availabe to youth, family, and the community. *To increase functioning in home, school, and community. The Advantage Group Foundation is licensed and funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services-Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (OASA)and the McHenry County Mental Health Board and has Network Accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) as an affiliate with the McHenry County Behavioral Healthcare Network.
