SLCR CERT South Lake County Regional Community Emergency Response Team SLCR CERT Founded in 2006 SLCR CERT is an ALL VOLUNTEER Section 501c3 organization providing emergency support services to supplement the first responders Police Fire EMS Public Works of Lake Zurich Hawthorn Woods Long Grove Kildeer Deer Park and Ela Township during emergency and nonemergency events. SLCR CERTs 66 members are extensively trained in First Aid CPR Triage Search and Rescue Traffic Control Disaster Assessment and more. CERT is mobilized 24x7 to support and supplement local police fire emergency medical EMS EMA and public works capabilities in emergency and nonemergency situations. .
