We, the parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Oakland, New Jersey, are a Eucharistic Community guided by the Holy Spirit, striving to live the Gospel Teachings of Jesus Christ. We commit ourselves to live a deeper life with Jesus and to celebrate His presence in Word and Sacrament. We are called to be witnesses of His loving presence in the daily lives of the people of our Community. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we fulfill this mission by using our gifts of time, talent and treasure for the benefit of all God’s people. As we enrich our spiritual life in Christ, we respond with care and compassion to the spiritual and human needs of everyone as a sign of God’s universal love for all creation. Adopted March 15, 1999
