Who We Are The Arthur Griffin Foundation for Winchester was established by renowned nationally acclaimed photographer and Winchester resident Arthur Griffin to provide scholarships and grants to support the education of young visual artists in pursuit of a professional career in the visual arts and K12 innovative art programs within the Winchester Public Schools Art Department. For seventy years Arthur Griffin 19032001 strolled and studied the streets and paths of Winchester his beloved adopted hometown. Here the renowned photographer captured the spirit of New England in the brick foliage and sunsets of an iconic Massachusetts town. His art achieved national acclaim and his legacy lives on with us.
