MCL Southwest Riverside County Detachment 1057 - Home MONTHLY MEETING 22 February 2025 We conducted our monthly meeting continuing plans on routine detachment business as we push through 2025. We bid fair winds and following seas to former Marine Corporal Eugene Gene Hackman age 95 and his wife Betsy Arakawa age 62 who were recently found dead at home in Santa Fe New Mexico. Gene left home at age 16 lied about his age to enlist in the United States Marine Corps and served four and a half years as a fieldradio operator. Hackman was stationed in China Qingdao andlater in Shanghai.
