The Liberian Government and Liberian Community Associations around the world lack the support structure or infrastructure to respond rapidly to Liberians who become victimized by disaster or emergency situations. The Liberian Emergency and DIsaster Relief FUnd, Inc. was formed specifically to bridge this gap and help build infrastructure and capacity around these individuals so that they can transition easily from disaster and emergency situations into normal life.
