The mission of the STEP Conference is to pique the interest of Inland Southern California students from 4th grade through high school to pursue a STEM education and STEM careers and to remain in our area. The mission for the STEP Teacher Conference is to motivate the teachers to provide strong STEM education opportunities for their students and to give them tools to do so. The mission of the STEM Summer Learning Labs programs are to immerse 250 Riverside high school students in three interactive week-long programs where they learn about the application of STEM to careers in law enforcement, public safety, public utilities and manufacturing. All STEP programs are free to the participants. Surveys each year confirm we are achieving our missions and help us improve our programs.
