Science and Technology Education Partnership
The mission of the STEP Conference is to pique the interest of Inland Southern California students from 4th grade through high school to pursue a STEM education and STEM careers and to remain in our area. The mission for the STEP Teacher Conference is to motivate the teachers to provide strong STEM education opportunities for their students and to give them tools to do so. The mission of the STEM Summer Learning Labs programs are to immerse 250 Riverside high school students in three interactive week-long programs where they learn about the application of STEM to careers in law enforcement, public safety, public utilities and manufacturing. All STEP programs are free to the participants. Surveys each year confirm we are achieving our missions and help us improve our programs.

STEP produces its flagship science and technology education event every year the STEP Conference. The STEP Conference serves to ignite the imagination of thousands of students so that they might pursue promising careers in hightechnology fields while also providing handson training to hundreds of K12 teachers ensuring they have the latest tools to keep our students competitive in the global marketplace. Knowledge Is Power Working together Knowledge is power and what better place to get that knowledge than from each other.
