EGA's mission is to promote just, effective philanthropy supporting harmonious relationships between people and planet. EGA envisions a high-impact network of environmental funders working together as a force for equitable and sustainable ecosystems, communities and economies. We share wisdom and cultivate leadership practices, that catalyzes action to amplifies crucial voices, fosters debate, collaboration. The organization values stewardship, collaboration, transparency, accountability, and equity. EGA strives to “walk the talk” with all of its intention, activities, and resources.

EGAs 2025 Federal Policy Briefing is the premier opportunity for our membership to collectively chart a path forward for the sustained support of democracy. The Briefing creates space for meaningful peer and partner solutions sector wide dialogue and strategy to inform our responses and collective impact response.
