AID WNC IMAGINE A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA Photo Source Wes Hicks Were a nonprofit organization guided by faith supporting equitable Helene relief and recovery in WNC. OVER 59 BILLION IN DAMAGE On September 27 2024 Tropical Storm Helene brought flash floods landslides downed electricity lines and damaged cell towers leaving many residents to fight for their survival. Areas were without water power or communications for weeks. Latest estimates account for 104 lives lost and many more injured or still missing.
