This past Friday afternoon, the Michigan Department of Energy issued an emergency order delaying the retirement of the J.H. Campbell coal plant and requiring MISO and Consumers Energy to keep the plant running. After hard work of many advocates across the state, Campbell had been scheduled to retire on May 31.
