We have exciting news to share! Headwaters is partnering with Black Visions to move $1 million to Black-led groups working on the frontlines of justice through our Justice & Liberation Fund! Thanks to this partnership, we've doubled the amount the Justice & Liberation Fund will be able to provide this year to $2 million! Watch for an announcement of this year’s grantees in June! Headwaters will also be partnering with Black Visions to move an additional $500,000 to Black individuals throughout Minnesota – look for more information in the coming months. Black Visions is Black-led, queer, and trans centering organization dedicated to the liberation of all Black people. Since 2017 Black Visions has organized powerful, connected Black communities to dismantle systems of violence and oppression.
