HELENE RESPONSE From September 25 to 27 the Western North Carolina region was inundated with historic rainfall and the remnants of Hurricane Helene. The Henderson County Rescue Squad was prepared and ready to respond. The Squad has made heroic rescues ran EMS calls and worked to restore the county from this devastating event.
