We are a faith-based, K-5th afterschool program in economically disadvantaged areas of Austin on a mission to encourage hearts and inspire minds. Welcome to the Side by Side Kids facebook page! Our Mission To inspire and equip kids in East Austin to be excellent students, make wise choices, and follow Christ.Our VisionDeveloping servant leaders and heroes of tomorrow. Our Core ValuesSide by Side Kids has adopted a set of core Christian values; they are realized through our afterschool programs.Faith Development - Promotes spiritual growth and transformation of our students supportedby scripture.Character Formation - Builds on the strengths of students and positive qualities introduced by theschool.Academic Enrichment - Provides support for students' academic growth and excellence.Empowerment - Equips students to reach their God-given potential as productive individuals both at school, at home and in the community.
