Since 2002, we've hosted 1,100+ sporting events, generating more than $1.5 billion in direct visitor spending. The Columbus Sports foundation was formed to attract professional, collegiate, amateur, and youth sporting events to greater Columbus. We foster national and international amateur sports competition, primarily by conducting national and international competition in sports and/or by supporting and developing amateur athletes for national and international competition in sports.
