The Hispanic Heritage Center of Texas champions Hispanic legacy by ensuring the stories of Texas' first pioneers in the 16th - 19th centuries are chronicled in Texas history. Founded in 2008, The Center strives to be the steward of Texas history by producing educational materials to aid awareness about early Texas history by creating learning , and by leading community efforts to recognize, preserve and celebrate historic sites throughout the state.
