Safe Place is the home of Windham Countys Special Investigations Unit. Our entire team works together to ensure best practices and person-centered & trauma-informed practices are used from start to finish in each case. Provide a multi-disciplinary, trauma-informed response to child and adult survivors of physical and sexual violence. We work to reduce the trauma, ensure support and access to services and to streamline the process for survivors.

Our MISSION The mission of Safe Place is to facilitate an integrated multidisciplinary response to victims of child physical and sexual abuse and victims of adult sexual assault that reduces trauma promotes prevention and advocacy and supports healing for all in our community affected by these offenses.
