Historic Carson Long is the oldest boarding school in the United States that offers military training from grades 6-12. CLMA’s Board of Trustees voted to stop all operations at the end of the 2017/18 academic year (June 1 The mission of Carson Long Military Academy is to inspire young men to strive for academic excellence, build strong character, and reach their highest potential as future responsible citizens and ethical leaders in a global community.

This is an official notice from the law office managing the closure of the school concerning academic transcripts(also posted on www.carsonlong.org): TO: Carson Long Military Academy FROM: Martson Law Offices DATE: December 8, 2021 RE: 18159.1. Educational Data Request Website Post EDUCATIONAL DATA REQUEST RESPONSE At the end of the 2017-2018 academic year, Carson Long Military Academy (“CLMA”) ceased operations as an educational institution and closed. CLMA was no longer sustainable because of the significant funds required to renovate CLMA’s campus and CLMA’s declining enrollment numbers. Since CLMA’s closure, CLMA has been working to wind-up its operations and has liquidated its assets. CLMA is presently in the final stages of its dissolution and is unable to respond to requests for educational data as its resources in this stage of its dissolution are limited and it no longer employs any personnel (fb)
