EdTA is an international organization shaping lives through theatre education. The Educational Theatre Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA). Sharing EdTA’s vision of building a global community of creative problem solvers, effective collaborators, and empathetic individuals through theatre, ETF provides financial support to: - Subsidize new, emerging, and underserved student theatre programs - Create paths for theatre educators to develop new skills - Commission research to showcase the value of a theatre education Our strategies include emphasizing diversity to broaden access and equity opportunities for educators and their students.

We are greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Brad Rackers, co-Chapter Director of Missouri Thespians, and cherished Troupe director of Lee's Summit West High School (Troupe 6761). Brad’s passion for theatre education and unwavering support for his students left a lasting mark not only in his school community, but across Missouri and beyond. Our hearts go out to all who lost their friend, teacher, advocate, and mentor.
